Assigning notes (or accidentals) to different vsti's

This is a rather technical question, but I’d like to assign specific midi channels to individual notes in a single staff. This will allow me to send specific notes to different vst instruments that are tuned in specific ways. Is this possible?

Better yet, can I assign a specific midi channel to a specific microtonal accidental… so the notes using that accidental always go to a specific vsti’s midi channel?

p.s. In order for this to work, I would load Kontakt (for that stave) with several instances of the same instrument, each on a different channel, each with different tunings.

You can route different notes on a staff to different virtual instruments, but not automatically by pitch.

You need to assign the notes to different voices, and then enable ‘voice independent playback’ for the instrument in Play mode

You’ll then be able to assign the different voices to any VST instrument you have loaded in Dorico.

Can I do this regardless of the voice that is designated for that note? In cubase, I can simply click on the note, and assign it to a midi channel… and not need to worry about the “voice” that it is assigned to in the score (which throws off other things like flag direction).

No, I’m afraid not. At least, that’s my understanding of what I’ve seen on the forum previously on this question.
