Assigning Sample Attributes through scripting?

I would love to develop a script that will assign “Sample Attributes” to an open file, and then save the file with those attributes. Basically, I need to script to detect the key and assign the key range from whatever value is detected, and also detect the peak, and use THAT data to assign a velocity range.

I’m working on a piano sample project, and would like to be able to automate more of the tasks involved with the thousands of samples I’m working with. Being able to assign Sample Attributes automatically in Wavelab would be a wonderful thing!!

Any ideas on this?

Unfortunately, there is currently no script way to change the sample attribute.

Thanks, Philippe. If this were to be developed, there are at least a few of us virtual instrument builders who would really welcome such a thing.
