Assigning samples from a cubase beat to be played on Maschine Mikro controller?

Hi.

I want to be able to tap out beats i’ve made on Cubase 13 using Maschine Mikro so to play them live. I’m new to using controllers tho and haven’t yet bought it. Can anyone tell me how it works, what I would need and how to do it?
