In Dorico, I could not find a tool similar to “Click Assignment” of Finale as follows:

Does anyone have experience working similarly in Dorico?
It doesn’t exist. Yet.
Lyrics in Dorico are quite snappy, and look great. But currently there’s no comparison to the myriad options available in Finale.
But you don’t have to step over rests and tied notes. And typing into score is usually much snappier than in Finale. And elisions are easily marked. And you get smart quotes by default. And you can change the Verse number of a syllable afterwards. And word extensions don’t run on forever. And…
I’d agree, there’s no comparison! 
Sure, agree on all that. I’m still looking forward to something like the lyric window, eventually.
