I’m running Cubase with a Tascam US 224 and Windows 7. The unit powers on via USB, but I can’t get the control panel (i.e. play, record, etc) to work.
Any help with this issue would be much appreciated.

Please make sure that you have the right remote device selected on the Device Setup page under Devices, Device Setup. Next, be sure the MIDI inputs and outputs have the right function selected.
If that does not work then I recommend checking with Tascam.
