Seriously and what companies DO?

Regardless of how old they are its still Cubase and guess what, Steinberg owns Cubase period. Where did everyone get this sense of entitlement from that just because something is ‘old’ it should be free now?

“Abandonware” is NOT a real legal thing people.

You are absolutely right, abandonware does not exist (legally speaking) and it takes very long (70 years usually) for a software to become public domain.

But, is it breaking the law to use a “non-official” version of a software that you purchased but are not able to use for technical reasons ? (a dog :joy: )
