Atmos Title versus Gapless

I have an ATMOS album which requires crossfades between songs/titles. So I started with the gapless montage and made the required edits. But I can’t insert any TITLE start/end/splice markers, Neither Red nor Orange markers except for Title Index makers. The cd wizard is also greyed out/defeated.

In the ATMOS Title montages I can drop these all day long, but I can’t crossfade.

Is this correct behaviour? Am I supposed to create the edits in the gapless montage first, then render to a single album file and import into a Title montage to add the markers? Is that the intended work flow?

Yes, this is the only possible workflow. Provided your songs are compatible (else WaveLab will tell you). Crossfading in Dolby Atmos has nothing to do with standard crossfading because of metadata. Metadata can’t be crossfaded; hence, special handling is required.
