Audio Alighnment Tool -can't open it in Cubase 10.6

I have tried all sorts of ways to use this including splitting audio parts, bouncing parts etc.
The Audio (not Project…) drop down menu always shows> Audio Alignment Tool- greyed out.

If anyone has used this would they kindly post a short walk through.
It seems a prospectively useful tool but I’ve plowed through the manual and online help,

I’ve found the solution from a video- it’s not working from the drop down menu but from the Alignment Tool which of course needs to have been selected to show itself…clue- it’s next to the Quantize Tools…
