Audio Alignment Processing - Freezing at 40%

Hmm… I have stumbled upon this several times know, and I can’t identify the cause.

Selecting several voice overlays (adio tracks) in order to Align vocals. It aligns a couple of tracks then freezes. the problem is intermittent.

“Processing audio alignment …” stops at 40%, sometimes it progress onwards up to 43 %, then falls back to 40% and stands there… I’m unable to abort. have to kill Cubase as a process!!!

Anyone else got this?

Executing audio alignment on a 9.5.40 project crashed Cubase 10.0.5 for me.

Update: I’ve now had both of the above behaviours occur.
