Whenever I have an audio clip on a track and I use the handles to tone down the volume so that it does not play at maximum, if I then use the audio fade-in handles to fade the audio clip, the result is that it fades in but at the point where the fade-in ends and the volume is then steady there is a sudden spike in the volume to maximum clip volume between the fade-in and the set clip level.
I’ve highlighted the point at which the sudden surge occurs.
Running cubasis 3.5.1 on an iPad Pro M1
(it’s a shame there’s no way to add a few db to a clip using the volume handles like on some other DAWs)
