Audio Connection names missing after upgrade

Hi,

I noticed after upgrading to Cubase 11 from 10.5 that the names of my audio interfaces connections are lost.

I use Mac OS Catalina and a Motu 828ES interface.

In Cubase 10 and 10.5 it displayed the name of the ins and outs of my Motu 828ES using the names I set them up to have in the Motu interface.
In Cubase 10/10.5 (this still works perfectly btw) it displays the names like this: Octatrack L, Octatrack R, Mic 1 etc etc…
In Cubase 11 I see them as 828 1, 828 2, 828 3…which gets quite confusing to keep track of what is what.

I did try to reset the connections in the Audio setup under Studio setup, but that didn’t do anything.

Any advice, or is this just a bug in C11?

Hi,

This is known and already reported issue. Thank you.

Great to hear, thanks!
