Hey guys,
Once I have comp’d a piece of audio is there a way of visually consolidating all the slices back into one block of audio so it is not so cluttere? I have tried this with the Glue tool; sometimes it works but other times, once I have glued I an then unable to turn the volume up for that audio event.
Once you have adjusted the volumes of individual slices of the same track, it changes the volume protocol when you rejoin the pieces. Instead of rejoining, export that audio track back to Cubase. It will make a whole new audio event and you will be able to adjust the volume again.

So you mean I can individually the adjust volume level of separate events on the same track?
I want all of the vocals on the same track to have the same volume.
Yes. Either by raising/lowering the ‘volume’ line right on the event or by selecting the event and changing the numbers in the volume display on top of the arrange page.
