Ok, so what the! I’ve been using Pro 14 since it was released. Never had an issue. Today 05.04.2025 I keep getting an “Audio Drop Out” when recording, just simple acoustic guitar & vocals.
I mean what the!!! Why would this happen now? Has Steinberg updated something?
I’ve not added any new software, drivers, extra so what the bloody hell is happening.?
This could be literally anything…
And since we know nothing about your system, OS, Cubase version, plugins involved etc it is impossible to narrow it down… 
Like a backup starting up, network traffic, etc. basically anything which causes Cubase to wait for a resource, even for just a moment, will cause a recording to fail.
Yep gotcha. It’s fixed, a quick search with Grok found the solution by increasing the buffer size, which was at 32 and is now at 96. Sorted.
