The shorter cable worked for many months (thanks for your help!), then today I’m getting audio break up and audio barely audible. Checked connections, tried different channels that had recorded properly before, checked audio chain from synth to mixer to interface with all functioning properly.
Audio just isn’t being recorded properly. The breakup happens on recording - I can see the waveform barely showing up - then on playback it sounds like it looks - weak and sporadic.
Tracks recorded earlier look and sound as they should. New recording is unusable.
