Hi everyone,
I’m completely stuck and I have an urgent client deadline: Dorico 6 SE crashes as soon as I try to use it with headphones plugged in.
At first, I was getting this error:
“Dorico cannot connect to the audio engine”
So I uninstalled and reinstalled everything from scratch, and after testing I found out this:
If I launch Dorico with no headphones plugged in, it works fine.
If the headphones are already plugged in when launching or I switcg to them after Dorico started, it immediately crashes. I got this error:
A serious problem has occurred in the following file:
C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Dorico6\VSTAudioEngine\Components\baios.dll
I just need Dorico to work with headphones – is there a known fix or workaround?
