Audio Engine taking longer than usual to respond Issue

Hi! Relatively new user to dorico, when I start up the program.

I gather from other posts that may be a system specific issue, and I’ve attached the Diagnostic crash report.

Welcome to the forum @falk.norman , and thanks for the report.
It shows a crash in the Groove Agent SE 3. And since you have already the very latest version of it, I’m quite surprised to see this crash. My question is, do you get this crash quite often? It would be nice if you could post, the whole DiagnosticReport instead of just the one ips file. Thanks

In case it’s not clear to you how to post the whole diagnostic report, Falk, please run Dorico again and, assuming it gets all the way to the Hub window so that you can start a new project or open an existing one, choose Help > Create Diagnostic Report, which will create a zip file on your desktop. Attach that to a reply here.

I noticed it crashing a couple of times upon opening the app, however after restarting it was usually okay. During this time I had downloaded the groove agent instrument, but not the content yet, and there was a popup that informed me of this. I then downloaded the Groove Agent content, which led to it always crashing I think. I’m sorry it might be something really simple.

Oh no I restarted my laptop and it’s fine now…

Let’s hope it stays fine now, but don’t hesitate to come back here should some trouble return.
