Audio export bug?

Hi all!

I think I found a bug in the audio export section. I have a project with multiple flows, mostly using the full score but some flows using another score that I created myself with other settings. If I choose to export all flows at the same time and have the “full score” at the screen, the flows written with my alternative score are exported with 7 seconds of silence only. If I have my score with alternate settings up on the screen and choose to export all flows, the flow-mp3s written in “full score” are all silent (just 7 seconds of silence here).

So the workaround is rather easy, create audiofiles for each score separate. But it would of course be nice if it could be done at the same time!

Also a wish for the future: the possibility to myself choose the filename for the audiofile to be created. My client want me to export updated files with new names, and that takes a few clicks and manual renaming to be fixed.

Welcome to the forum, Jonas. To be sure I’m understanding you: you are exporting audio from a project containing multiple flows, and you have multiple full score layouts in the project. When you choose to export audio, the active full score layout is one that doesn’t contain all flows, and if you export audio from those flows, you end up with empty audio files?

If so, this is (for better or worse) the expected behaviour: audio export is based on the layout that you’re currently looking at. Switch to a layout that contains all the flows you want to export, and you should be able to export them all in one operation.

Hi!

Yes, you’ve understood right. Since the option was there to select and export ALL flows in the file (not just the ones that was used the same score layout), I was a little surprised. :slightly_smiling_face:
