Hi Krish, it was not a space issue but an access rights issue. But your latest link works, I could watch the video. However, that video is - sorry to say - of few use to me. You click there through endless folders, I can’t keep track of and or follow.
Could you make my life easier, by posting mp3s that you rename to something like DoesImportToCubase.mp3 or DoesNotImportToCubase.mp3
If it then all imports with me, then we know where to further search. Or the other way round. You know what I mean? We need to take it step by step, otherwise it is too confusing.
If I rename the file it imports without any error message That is ok but why the name given by dorico won’t import? So I have to rename all the exported files that is a time wasting job. And somtimes the exported files can’t rename also then I have to make a copy rename the copy and import it. I made the screen recording to show the path of the file. I thought it may be an issue of a long path. You see all the files I shared with you are the same one the path of the file only different and if the file is inside the folder created by dorico it won’t work
I think indeed it is path length issue, because when I downloaded your folder with the mp3s, then I could not unzip it because of exceeding path length. So I had to move the downloaded zip file into a location closer to the root of the drive. Then I could extract and import to Cubase.
Try also following, during import to Cubase there is the option “Copy to Project Folder”, what if you deselect that one? Does it import in that case?
