Would there be any chance of implementing a progress bar when Dorico is exporting audio files? Since it takes some time with larger compositions it’d be good to see how its doing, at the minute the only indicator anything is happening is the spinning beach ball of doom on Macs until it finishes.
I believe Daniel/Steinberg know(s) about this and it may well be on their list.
I agree it would be useful. IIRC, it may not currently show when export is complete.
This is a known issue. The progress bar works as expected on Windows, just not on mac. It’s a threading issue that needs more detailed investigation.
