Can anyone tell me what the straight lines are in the image provided and how to remove them? I’ve just bounced out stems and imported them into a new ‘mix’ track and the files snap to grid from this point rather than from the start of the audio file. I need the audio files to be in an exact spot as it’s scored to picture and there are specific hit points.
Oh boy, how can I put it gently? Steinberg thinks that whatever this is, it is genius.
Ok, the white lines are indicators for Snap Points. Each audio event in Cubase has a Snap Point. Unfortunately it is not always set to the beginning of an event. You can create a macro and if all the affected events start on the same position you can fix the snap point issue in one go.
For many years users have been complaining about this. Just type in “snap point #cubase
” in the search box of this forum.

Don’t forget that you can assign a key command to a macro. So the workflow would be: select event, key command, select event, key command, …
