When recording a new audio track, it would be great to have the file name start with the project name, then the track name (use the same UI as the export dialog box but put it in the preferences panel).
Just think of the hundreds of audio files called “guitar1.wav” on your hard disk!
I almost lost an important project as it changed machines and the audio files were in another project’s audio folder. I was able to find them only because I misspelled the track name, otherwise, I would have never been able to find the files.
