I have opened existing projects and the audio files are not metering or playing. I have checked that the Focusrite interface is selected and the track outputs are all routed correctly . MIDI files are playing and audible. If I double click on individual files and open the track editor, they will play when I press the preview arrow/play button. Any help as to why this issue has suddenly arisen on tracks that were previously fine?
Hi and welcome to the forum,
Try to click the Deactivate All Mute States button (even if it’s not yellow), please.
I have tried toggling the Mute (M) button at the top of the project window. It doesn’t light up. Neither do the “S” or “L” buttons. They only light when the mouse is clicked on them but then go off again. The R W and A buttons do work globally.
Hi,
That’s correct. Can you hear the audio now?
Unfortunately I don’t
Hi,
Could you attach a screenshot of the MixConsole window with the Routing table expanded, please?
Can you hear audio, if you add a new Audio Track?
Can you hear audio if you duplicate the affected Audio Track?
I actually upgraded and then still had the problem. It was weird but is now solved by installing updates in Windows 10. Thanks for the help
