Hello, I have some audio files which I know peak at -0.1db. However when I import them into a Cubase track (stereo or mono) they peak at only -2.1db on the meter. when played back. Can anyone help with this discrepancy please? I have tried changing the pan law but the only option (from -3 to 0) was too much. Any help gratefully appreciated. Thanks.
