Audio Interruption due to USB error is detected

I just purchased the upgrade to 14. Still have the same problem. I believe it is the yamaha ASIO program but I can find no support from anyone.

I have the same problem with the Yamaha AG03. I tested the interface with a laptop and it works perfectly fine. I’ve tried almost everything: turning off the ā€˜Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power’ option for every USB port, changing some BIOS settings, switching cables, and nothing works.

I resolved my problem this way: disabled PCI express->Link State Power Management in Power Options window. Latency became normal, and dropouts disappeared.

can you detail what settings you changed?

This did not resolve my problem. Thanks for your help though.

Did you make the usb power management tweak in the thread ClarkParker linked a few posts back?
Also in Windows power scheme advanced settings you should disable ā€œusb selective suspendā€

Yes. I made those adjustments, but I am still having the same problem.

Crazy, I never met this problem till I got a new laptop. And the same line same ur22c, only the newest laptop got this problem, the others are all good. So how’s ur situation? Has it been solved?

I’ve yet to find a solution. Even the new USB ASIO driver from steinberg drops out.

What fixed ā€œaudio interruption due to USB errorā€ for me (so far - fingers crossed) is going to Windows Settings > System > Power & Battery and then changing Power Mode to Best Performance (I’m on a Surface Pro). I was having the issue when using the device on battery power and Power Mode was Balanced.

I’m using a desktop that is always plugged in.
