I just got Elements 8, I also have LE5 - which works fine.
The audio in (Mic in vocals though a USB mixer) is fine in LE5 - lots of it!
But in the brand new Elements 8 has very low audio…barely registering in terms of a wave form.
The settings appear the same in both programs… Can anyone suggest where I might look?

Seems to be an issue with 64bit version. I installed the 32bit version and the directx asio is there. In the 64bit version I can only see the generic one, and I can install Asio4all - but the record audio is very low using these drivers.
The 32bit version of Elements 8 is fine in terms of audio level - very perplexing, does anyone have a fix for this:?
Both 32 and 64 bit running on same PC with same hardware etc.
