My audio keeps dropping out for no reason. This session was fine last week and I open it today literally changed nothing and it is dropping out. It was doing this a few months ago while I was using Cubase 13 then and I thought if I upgraded to Cubase 15 it would solve the issue. This did work for a little while, but now its dropping out again. The buffer size is large. and I have a beast Mac Studio: Apple M2 Max, Memory 32 GB, and 1TB of storage.
Audio “dropping out” can mean a variety of different things. Can you be more specific - is it your entire mix or specific Tracks; does it come & go or is there just no sound; etc.
Great point. The bass track will stop playing for a few seconds and then begin playing again. This will happen over and over again in the bass track about every ten seconds.
In the previous session I mentioned, it was several tracks doing the same thing.
Do you have a plugin that needs re-registering or a demo one that has a time limit on it?
this suggests it’s not a resource constraint as that typically sounds like it’s breaking up in tiny bits.
