I understand the latency issues with Cubase 12 but now it seems it has gotten much worse for no reason at all. Maybe this is due to Microsoft updates I am unaware of or something else. During playback, the audio skips sound, cuts out, etc. I invoked the “constrain delay compensation” but that turns off many VST’s to work which changes the sound considerable. I currently have my buffer set to 1024 but I still have issues, any ideas? Steve P.S. did everyone update to Cubase 15?
The performance issues are not latency compensation related. Turning delay compensation off, is not a solution.
Make sure your ASIO driver is up-to-date.
