I have been working with CUBASE for many years, but I have no experience with Loops. I would like to convert a guitar loop (long tone) to MIDI. So that I can work with it like with a regular MIDI instrument. I tried it using the VariAudio function, I converted the loop to MIDI, but instead of the sound of a guitar there is just some piano sound. Could you give me an advice please?
you need to send it to a sampler track to trigger a loop with midi. a simple way to do it is to select your sample with right click → create sampler track
and you are ready to trigger the loop with your midi
