Audio/midi out of sync-

Hello fellow Cubase user,

I haven't opened Cubase or worked on my recent project for the past two days.

But when I started it and listen to the project again yesterday, I was surprised to hear that all the audio, guitar parts, MIDI, etc., were no longer playing in the correct order—they were out of sync.

Does anyone know why this happened and how I can fix it?

Is audio in sync with other audio?

Is midi in sync with other midi?

If it’s audio not syncing with midi then you probably have a sample rate mismatch.

If audio and MIDI are out of sync in Cubase, it is usually due to an incorrect ASIO driver, an excessively high buffer size, or active plug-ins with high latency.
