When I open Cubase AI5 I get a loud piano audio noise. When I go to open a VST instrument I get the same piano noise. Then when closing the program I get the same piano audio sound. What could be causing this issue. In troubleshooting, I uninstalled then re-installed Cubase and surprisingly still get the same sound when I open and close the program… 
Could it be a sound setting in your computer that is doing this?

Don’t know, but this doesn’t happen when I open or close Reason8, so I’m thinking not. I’m planning to just reinstall Cubase again from the disc and download the Motif XF Editor again from Yamaha downloads and see if it works.
