I have recorded guitar with 2 mics using 2 mono channels. I have opened both channels in audio part editor to edit simultaneously. When I use the arrow pointer to select multiple lanes across both channels, only 1 channel is highlighted

To select multiple lanes, Ctrl/Cmd or Shift-click the lanes.
To select multiple events, Shift-click the events.
that’s one way of doing it … but not the way I have used for years … this is a graphics bug (all was fine in previous versions … only a problem with C14)
I just came here to post the same thing. It seems very intermittent when it wants to work. v13 Seems to consistently work. Whether using ctrl to select multiple, or drag select ANY event in the sequencer timeline. At times it will just bounce around confused on what part it should select/highlight.
@Paul_J I’m not sure this is the same issue. From your video it looks like only tracks with Pattern Events are affected. I would open a new topic for this with the “cubase-14” and “issue” tags.
Looks like the same issue but in different editing enviroment … my issue happens with regular audio in the ‘audio part editor’ … the issue has been raised and is apparently being looked at by Steinberg
