Audio pauses briefly when switching between screens

Hi all, I am facing a very annoying issue here with Cubase Pro 10. As the title states, when switching between different screens the audio pauses briefly. It also occurs sometimes during playback in the Arranger screen. In that case, no other screens are open. I have checked and unchecked the “release driver when application is in background” option in Studio Setup but that doesn’t fix it… Another thing that occurs is that all menu items on top are not visible (see attachment). Some very strange things happening here! Can anybody assist and lead me in the right direction? Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks!

  1. What do you mean by “different screens”, please? Do you mean different windows? What kind of windows?

  2. The menu bar is a dedicated floating window. Isn’t it placed on other screen (monitor)?
