Feature Request:
Implement the following organization options into the Audio Pool:
Sort audio files by track colour
Sort audio files by folder track
Reasoning:
I regularly experiment with creating multiple variations of the same element for a track (lets say snare drums for this example). I usually end up grading the quality of the audio files by assigning them a track colour and placing them inside of folder tracks.
It would be nice if there was more comprehensive organization / sorting features within the Audio Pool to make project management easier to handle.
How would you color the audio files if they were used on multiple tracks with different Track colors?
Also when comping, for example vocals, I’ll often color code the various sections green, yellow & red based on usefulness. So that’s one Audio File that is assigned 3 different colors plus it is sitting on a Track that’s a fourth color. How should that work?
That is different to my suggestion, that would be considered as “Audio Event” colour, and not the “Audio Track” colour.
A quick suggestion off the top of my head for your example would be to implement a box that can contain multiple strips of different colours in it for identification.
But the overall concept is to implement more comprehensive organization / sorting settings into the Audio Pool to make managing the Audio Pool more efficient.
Sometimes I just want to create a folder within the Audio Pool and place all of the “X” coloured audio events into it. But instead I have to go through the process of individually “Find Selected In Pool” for every single Audio Event.
