I recently upgraded from Cubase 9.5 to 10. Things seemed to be fine. Then I opened an older project (from 2014) and it kept overloading the audio processor, even though there aren’t that many tracks and plug-ins on the project. The audio processing load bar kept showing peaks of overload and the project stuttered.
If I open the project in Cubase 9.5 (Which fortunately I haven’t uninstalled yet) that problem does not exist. The audio processing load bar is at around 1/4.
Does anyone know why?
Thanks,
Andrea
I actually figured it out myself after hours of headaches. All I had to do was: Studio → Studio Setup → VST Audio System → deactivate ASIO-Guard
Hello,
I have the same problem with cubase 9.5. Deactivating asio guard does not change anything
Is there another solution?
still feeling the pain.
ANYBODY GOT ANY ANSWERS?
This fixed mine, and it just turned-on Steinberg’s Power Scheme, which allows your system to run better by using more power. Worked like a charm for me, but I do have a top-of-the-line gaming computer my son-in-law built for me.
