Audio Quantize not doing anything - SOLVED!

Finally I found the solution! The “Enable Automatic Hitpoint Detection” in Cubase Preferences was for some odd reason NOT enabled!?
I mean WTF! Is this setting not enabled by default in Cubase Pro 10.5 anymore? After all, I did trash my preferences in order to fix the problem in the first place! Makes me wonder what this “Trash your preferences” mantra here on the forum is all about!

Now, Martin and Shanabit, can you please verify if you have changed this setting, or is it enabled or disabled by default?

By default this settings is enabled.

Enabled by Default here as well. Box is CHECKED

Weirdest issues ever. I bet the cat was in the prefs and clicked it off :smiley:

Thanks for confirming this.
Makes me wonder why it was not enabled in my preferences then??
And trashing the preferences did not change that setting back to “enabled” either. :confused:
