Audio regions to Sampler track?

i have a drumloop that i want to chop up into its single hits, lets say 16th.
i can derive the regions of each 16th hit in the audio editor via hitpoints and create regions.
how can i take then each region and assign it to consecutive trigger keys in the sampler track?
so that i can play each hit separately on the keyboard?

any idea if that is possible

anyone got any ideas on how best to do this?

You’ve created regions from an event, now it would be nice to easily convert each region to a note on a sampler track for playing.
