Audio Segment Detection

Hey everybody,
I watched the official tutorial about the " audio segment detection " by using the modifier key. As is the vido I have selected the " shift " key as a modifier key. But how does this feature in fact get into work ?
I went over the audio file with the mouse in the arranger and holded the " shift " key but nothing happened.

All the rest with the new editing tools works perfect. Really cool :slight_smile:

First, you need to assign the shift key in preferences, under Tool Modifiers/Range Tool, and don’t forget to select range tool before you press shift key to take effect.

Thats what I did - but maybe I selected the wrong function since I was not sure if the german translation meant the same as in the tutorial.
