I am using Cubase 12, and I have a sound card (MOTU M2), and it is plugged in. However, when I enter the Studio Setup menu, and the Audio Connections menu, it does not show up, and I am not able to switch the audio system over to that one. I am not sure if this is because I am relatively new and have not figured it out, or that it is a really an issue.
The audio connections window doesn’t show the audio system used : it’s the Studio > Studio Setup > Audio system panel that does and where the available ASIO drivers are shown in the ASIO driver dropdown list. What do you have in it (a screenshot would help…) and have you installed the MOTU M2 ASIO driver ?
The Studio > Audio Connections one manage the different inputs/outputs, etc. used as input/output busses in a given project from the ASIO driver chosen.
