Audio Track Recorded Volume

Hello,

On Cubasis for IPad, an audio track recorded that is too quiet can be boosted using a “Normalise” button. This makes the volume louder, and makes the soundwave visually bigger.

Can someone please explain how to do this on Cubase Elements, that I have installed? I have imported many audio tracks that are too quiet, and appear almost non existent visually.

Just to be precise, I want to do this to specific individual tracks, and not to the whole project’s tracks.

Many, many thanks.

Richard

Select the Audio you want to increase the volume of, then open the Audio menu, then select Process, then Normalise.

If it’s something you’re going to be doing regularly you can record it as a macro and assign a short cut key.

Alternatively, you might want to look at why the sounds are being recorded at too low volumes?
