"Audiowarping in the Sample Editor now works as expected"

… From the version history of 7.5.20 Cubase / Cubase Artist 7.5.20 maintenance update available - Cubase - Steinberg Forums . Has anyone figured out what this is referring to yet? I looked through the posts, haven’t seen this one addressed, sorry if I missed it.

Yea a little vague but for me so far: Grid is now there and freewarping is much snappier then before.

Though there is a weird graphic trail left across the waveform by the pointer, and the waveform itself jumps in size, and sort of goes out of focus for a second as you move a warp marker…

There was a big known problem with freewarp where the exported track was loosing sync. Hopefully this is fixed… I still have to test this… If you warp a bass guitar track for instance, and it is one long event.

And then the grid was missing.

Hi,

it refers to a bug in the definition tool of the sample editor. [RIO-11777] You might find it somewhere in the Issues sub-forum.

Regards

Thank you for the explanation, Luis Dongo.

Not that it matters, but I could not locate that bug in the issues forum.

Anyone know if this has changed w/ 7.5.20?
