Audition Tool on multi-channel audio tracks: listen to one channel?

I use the Sphere L22 modeling mic, recording a Stereo track, with the front capsule on the Left and the rear capsule on the Right. Is it possible to listen to either channel with the Audition Tool – and hear it in mono? It’s very fatiguing to comp vocals when essentially all the sound is in one ear - and you can’t hear it accurately.

I’m guessing “not at this time”, as unfortunately. p226. of the Cubase Pro 13 Operations Manual says, " audio is routed to the default output bus, bypassing the settings of the audio channel, effects and EQs."

I did find one dangerous way to Audition in mono: use the Mono/Stereo button on that track, temporarily making it a mono track. But be careful: if you forget to put it back to Stereo before recording, you’ll only get a mono clip!

Hi,

All the Previews and Auditions are routed via the Monitor bus. Add a Mono Monitor bus, please.

Or maybe converting the recording into two mono files would work.
