this problem was solved in a newer version. We are releasing every Friday a Pre-Release which can be downloaded here. Please download the latest version, re-try it and keep us in the loop.

… “still” sounds liked it always crash? When exactly will it crash?
Can you please have a look if crash logs were created? Check the following folders
Windows : C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Steinberg\CrashDumps
macOS : /Users/Username/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports
Do you see any files named vstlive? Can you please share them with us?

I open the project - the route is broken. I’m setting it up again. I save the project. I’m leaving the program. I open VSTL, open the project, error in routing.
Updated to version 2.0.27.163.
The error remains
… ok. To get it reproduced I need to what you want to automate? Is it a Plug-In? Instrument? Where did you have load it?

I can add any plugin to an audio channel. And routing of any automation does not work. Automation of the channel itself - volume, mute, works. The only problem is with the inserts

sorry, we’ve found the problem. It’s indeed a problem with Inserts. It’s fixed now. Please re-try with the next Pre-Release coming on Friday and let us know your results. Attention: You need to select the Insert-Plug-In in the Automation Track again and then save it.
