Auto quantize Midi-Length

Hey guys,
a similar post was closed without resolutions…

Is there any possible way to turn Auto Q on and have it auto quantize the ends/lengths of midi notes recorded… to the closest grid line? The Auto-Q button only affects the beginning.

AFAIK, not in real time. But maybe this workaround could help, somehow :

  1. Make sure that the Quantize length parameter is set as wanted, in the Key Editor.
  2. Open the Project Logical Editor window and set it as below :

  1. Make a preset of it : it will be listed in the Process Project Logical Editor category of the Key Commands window.
  2. Set a shortcut for it in this window.

You should then be able to quantize the events lengths of any MIDI part selected, accordingly to the Quantize Length value set in 1), with a simple key stroke, once a record is done.
