Auto-Save in Background

Auto-save should happen in the background and allow me to continue working while it’s auto-saving.

Many Cubase users use it for film scoring which often ends in huge files. The larger the project file the longer it takes to save. Auto-save has saved me so many times. I wish I could set auto-save to every 5 minutes but because it doesn’t do it in the background it totally kills my workflow. If I left it every 5 minutes it would interrupt me every 5 minutes.

Please make it happen in the background and allow us to continue working while it’s auto-saving.

Yes, +1!! Auto save should not interrupt the workflow every few minutes, it’s very annoying and can kill creative momentum.

I also have one vote.
I have been struggling with this problem for a long time now.
I recently purchased a very capable Mac, and I no longer have audio interruptions on my huge orchestral projects, and most of the complaints I used to get have been eliminated.
However, it still freezes briefly every few minutes.
I would love to see this problem fixed.
I love Cubase and can’t switch to Logic now.
