can someone give an example of using this auto select range option, I find whether off or on all operations act exactly the same, I would like an example of an editing function that behaves differently if this is off or on
“Auto Select Range” active mans WaveLab will auto-select the best audio range, acording to the user’s actions. Example:
- Select a time range: press F6 and that range will be played
- Activate a clip: press F6 and the clip range will be played (but if there is a time selection, this one has precedence)
- Put the cursor inside the range delimited by a marker pair: press F6 and that marker region will be played (but if there is a time selection, this one has precedence)
For the Fade/XFade,… this does not seem to work.
hi PG
thank you for the reply, but that is exactly why I am confused,
-
Select a time range: press F6 and that range will be played this happens if auto select range is on or off
-
Activate a clip: press F6 and the clip range will be played (but if there is a time selection, this one has precedence) again this happens regardless of auto select range checked or not
I cant really find any distinguishing difference to warrant specifically checking this option
