Autoload (Default) of Groove Agent is gone

In dorico 5 groove agent was automatically loaded as default as Antony says here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bsa4n4nMcAM&t=39s
Now with Dorico Version 5.1.51.2153 that is no longer possible? In any case, it no longer works automatically for me, but manually.
But… when I enter GA manually I only get HiHat sound.

If I look at preferences/Play/Default playback template I see no groove agent in between.
At Play/Playback temlate or StageTemplate there is also nothing…

Reset Audio Engine Data does not help either and I have Groove Agent.
Also reinstalled GA including 5.2.10 update, but unfortunately still nothing.

What am I missing?

MacBook Pro
Apple M1 Max
macOS Sonoma

When you look at Play > Playback Template, do you see any of the factory templates with GASE in their names?

Yes a lot but no Groove Agent

GASE = Groove Agent SE (which is the version bundled with Dorico)

Yeah I know, but do you see it in there? The question is why he’s gone, that’s what I don’t understand

@Janus Or maybe I don’t quite understand what you mean?

yes okay, but how do I make it default?

If you would like Dorico to load one of the Playback Templates that contains GASE for all your future projects, you can choose/set this in Preferences:

For the current Projects, you can just Reapply one of the Playback Templates that have GASE in it. (From menu Play/Playback Template… → select one → Apply and close)

Thx Christian,
But the 1000 wonders of the on off button…

What you describe here was already set, but it didn’t work.
So I thought I’d simply turn off my mac for about 30 seconds and voila…

by the way, I don’t think it’s because of the update, but I remember that I did a clean install 1 week ago and switched to Os Sonoma, maybe that was it (?)

Anyway, Daniel and Janus, many thanks for your help!
