Good afternoon, I’m having trouble adding simultaneous 12/8 and 4/4 time signatures. As you can see, when I adjust the bar lines in the score, they’re correct. However, the problems are in the parts, which don’t group the multi-measure rests of the instruments, which don’t have music because of these simultaneous time signatures (12/8 and 4/4). I would greatly appreciate a little help. Thank you.
I understand you entered 4/4 with a pick-up of 6 beats in every bar, but you don’t need to. In the bar after the first 4/4 bar enter a 12/8 again, and hide it. Then the multi-rests will work (at least, from the 12/8 onward).
