Automatic concertina drag

Hello, I tried the „concertina drag“ function in my Dorico 6.1.10
It’s a long time since I have used it, so I looked it up in the manual and found:

Move the selected systems in any of the following ways:

  • To move them downwards a standard amount, press Alt/Opt-J.

Strange thing happens though: when I select the system and press the key-combination - as described - the system slowly starts creeping down the page (without me using arrow keys or a mouse drag). It just moves by itself.
If I use alt-k the opposite happens, the selected system starts creeping up.

My question, is this intended behaviour?

I’m on Windows, so my shortcuts are:

Ctrl+alt+J moves the staves, concertina fashion down in large increments.

alt+J moves the staves, concertina fashion down in small increments.

Ctrl+alt+K moves the staves, concertina fashion up in large increments.

alt+K moves the staves, concertina fashion up in small increments.

But it doesn’t move continously - just per key press.

Actually, I didn’t know about these shortcuts - could be quite useful.

Yes – when you press the key combo, the systems move. This is not a key combo to activate concertina dragging (and then you drag with the mouse or arrow keys); it’s a key combo to perform concertina dragging.

Or are you saying that when you press the key combo and release it, the systems continue to move? That would indeed be odd.
