In version 15.0.20, when you delete unused audio files (empty trash), the entire session history is automatically deleted. Is it possible to disable such deletion?
Hi,
was it any different in previous versions? To me this behaviour seems to follow a clear logic: If thereās nothing to revert back to - why keep the history?
EDIT: Hereās another thread, it seems they have changed it indeed. However, thereās also a workaround if you follow the thread
Yes, itās never been like this. Iām deleting audio files the entire time Iām working. I donāt want my undo history being erased!
Iāve never noticed because I always keep my audiofiles till the finish line. Iām fine either way.
Every workflow is different ![]()
Hi,
this is a major problem for me.
Why should deleting files and undo history be connected anyway?
same here, iĀ“m very annoyed by this new āfeatureā, i empty my pool all the time during recording sessions, but i dont want to undo the history!
Yes. Itās not necessary. Itās inconvenient. And nothing was said about this in the comments to the release.
āthis is a major problem for meā
For me too. For all of us. A completely unnecessary added āfeatureā. As if the entire maintenance history of your car gets erased when you get new brakes. Huh???
