Automatic history deletion in Cubase 15.0.20

In version 15.0.20, when you delete unused audio files (empty trash), the entire session history is automatically deleted. Is it possible to disable such deletion?

Hi,
was it any different in previous versions? To me this behaviour seems to follow a clear logic: If there’s nothing to revert back to - why keep the history?

Emptying Trash Deletes Undo History? Why?

Why does emptying the Trash now delete the Undo history? This is new and I hope it’s not intended. It should be a user-selectable option. I am constantly emptying the trash on a project but i definitely DO NOT want to lose my undo history. Somebody please explain the logic behind this. And why is it considered a “feature”. I personally DO NOT want it.

Yes, it’s never been like this. I’m deleting audio files the entire time I’m working. I don’t want my undo history being erased!

I’ve never noticed because I always keep my audiofiles till the finish line. I’m fine either way.
