Automatic offset of unison notes

On a two-voice staff, when there are unisons I need them to not align to become as one, but one next to the other. Is there anyway to have this happen automatically?

There are some options in Notation Options > Voices, but not for all unison instances.

Thanks. I’ve got all the overlaps turned off there, but like you said it doesn’t work on all the unisons.

I can’t figure out even how to offset the note in Engraving mode. The X offset has no effect.

In Write mode, select one of the notes by clicking on the stem. Then switch to Engrave mode and change the value in the Voice Column Index to 1.
